Our Story

Did you know Maxi Paton is based on a real life black labrador puppy named Maxi?

Our story began in 2020 when Maxi was rescued from a puppy farm. I fell in love with his beautiful nature and his sense of playful fun the moment I met him. He runs at a million miles an hour around the property that he calls home, and has his own special dog house. He loves his food and will drink water straight from the tap.

When we first got Maxi, he was the runt of the litter, being the smallest puppy of all his siblings. He faced lots of challenges because of his small size, and we have been helping him to realise that we love him and accept him just as he is. So, I decided to write a book about Maxi Paton to help others understand the importance of acceptance.
